Return Policy & 365-Night Better Sleep Guarantee

At Denver Mattress Company, we want you to love your mattress. That's why we offer our 365-Night Better Sleep Guarantee—a full year to make sure your new mattress is the right fit for your sleep needs.


How Our 365-Night Guarantee Works

Your guarantee begins the day you take your mattress home and gives you one opportunity to exchange or return within the year:

Months 1–4: 100% credit toward a refund or exchange to a different mattress

  • You must keep your mattress for at least 30 days to allow your body to adjust to the new sleep surface

Months 5–8: 75% credit toward an exchange to a different mattress (exchanges only—no refunds)

Months 9–12: 50% credit toward an exchange to a different mattress (exchanges only—no refunds)

Important Requirements

To qualify for our 365-Night Guarantee, you must:

  1. Purchase a mattress protector or waterproof mattress pad with your mattress (this protects your mattress and is required for the guarantee to remain valid—the protector itself is non-refundable)
  2. Keep your mattress clean and unstained; mattresses that are soiled, stained, or damaged will not be accepted for return or exchange
  3. Be the person named on the original invoice

Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Special order mattress sizes (Split King, California King, Twin XL, Full XL)
  • Adjustable bases
  • Bedding products removed from original packaging
  • "As Is" final markdown mattresses (clearly marked at time of purchase)

Clearance mattresses qualify for a one-time exchange within 90 days for 100% credit toward another mattress (mattress protector required; no refunds). Warranties on clearance items match the purchase amount unless stated otherwise on your invoice.

Additional Costs & Considerations

  • You are responsible for delivery charges associated with returning or exchanging your mattress
  • If you received a gift with purchase, its value will be deducted from any refund
  • The 365-Night Guarantee allows for one exchange or return only—the guarantee period does not restart if you exchange for a different mattress
     

What If My Mattress or accessory Arrives Damaged?

We inspect all products before delivery, but if your mattress or accessory arrives damaged, or if our delivery team damages your home during installation, please contact us immediately. Take photos of the damage and call your local store within 48 hours of delivery. We'll work with you to arrange repair, replacement, or resolution—you should never be stuck with damaged merchandise or property damage caused by our team.
 


Protection Plans: What's Actually Covered

If you purchased a mattress protection plan or extended warranty, review your agreement carefully. Coverage specifics vary by plan. Common questions:

  • Stain protection typically covers accidental spills, but has specific claim procedures and may not cover all types of damage
  • Pet damage may have limitations depending on your specific plan
  • Defects vs. normal wear: Warranties cover manufacturing defects, not comfort preference changes or normal wear over time

If you have questions about what your protection plan covers, contact our customer service team with your invoice number, and we'll review your specific coverage with you.
 


Defective Products & Warranty Service

If you believe your mattress or furniture has a manufacturing defect:

  1. Contact your original store location with your invoice number and photos of the issue
  2. We'll review your warranty coverage and schedule an inspection if needed
  3. Depending on the manufacturer's warranty terms, you may be eligible for repair, replacement, or credit toward a new product

We know waiting for warranty service can be frustrating. If you're experiencing delays with parts or repair scheduling, please call us directly so we can escalate your case. You deserve timely resolution.
 


Refunds vs. Store Credit

Our policy prioritizes exchanges over refunds to help you find the right mattress for your needs. However:

  • Within the first 4 months, you are eligible for a full refund (minus delivery charges and any gift-with-purchase value)
  • After 4 months, exchanges only—we want to help you find a mattress that works, not leave you without a solution

If your product is defective under warranty, different terms may apply depending on the manufacturer's warranty policy.
